Here is a letter from Rev. Donna Johnson, CEO of Unity Worldwide Ministries, outlining ways we can help the victims of Typhoon HaiYun in the Philippines. While we've missed the first deadline, we can certainly consider sending relief goods and other supplies. Let me know your thoughts on this.

Dear Unity Leaders,

We recently received word from Florence R. Monzon, founding Spiritual Leader of Unity Philippines Spiritual Center. There are several ways that our Unity leaders and communities can support those who were affected by the super typhoon which impacted some of the Visayan provinces in the Philippines. Unity Philippines Spiritual Center ("UPSC") has launched "Operation Unity" for the victims of the typhoon and any help given is much appreciated. There are two opportunities to participate. We realize the first one is on short notice; if you're able to participate the information is below.
Cielo Demisch, an officers of UPSC and Florence's prayer partner for 15 years, is traveling from San Diego on Saturday, Nov. 23. If you have financial donations from your spiritual community, you can send a check payable to "Unity Philippines Spiritual Center" and expedite mail it to the address below. Cielo will leave on Saturday and will personally bring the check donations to Florence.

Relief goods and hygienic/medical supplies, can be shipped (LBC suggested) to the following address:

Florence shared with us last night, "We are helping feed hundreds of people who were flown in from the provinces for temporary settlement here at an Airport Base in Manila. People's homes and belongings were swept away by the storm and they are left with nothing but they are very grateful to be alive! Everyday, hundreds more are coming in. Please include as many DailyWords, old and new, and Unity handouts you can send. Thank you so very much for all that you do!" Florence can be reached at 858.245.4484.

Collectively we join hearts and hands in Unity to support our brothers and sisters in the Philippines,

Rev Donna Johnson
