Dear Friends in Unity,
In our ongoing monthly messages on the Twelve Powers, this month we discuss the power of Divine Order, which is both an attribute that each of us has within us as the “image and likeness” of the Divine and also a spiritual law, known as the Law of Divine Order. We may also call this law the Law of Manifestation or the Law of Mind Action. Everything that is manifested in the physical is first an idea in Divine Mind. We access Divine Ideas through prayer and meditation and then bring them into manifestation in the physical realm. You may remember the Unity saying “thoughts held in mind produce in the outer after their kind.” Let’s explore what that saying means in practical terms. If you hold thoughts of anger, fear, unforgiveness, you will manifest those emotions coming back to you in your life. If your thoughts are constantly chaotic and you are distracted, your daily experience will reflect that. On the other hand, if your thoughts are loving, peaceful, and forgiving, that will be your life experience. Paul Hasselbeck writes in Heart Centered Metaphysics that, “Order in the Mind of God is an idea of harmonious progress, evolution. Order in humankind is humankind’s ability to perceive and cooperate with the law of growth” (p.138). How do we do that? We use prayer and meditation to access our I AM self and connect with Divine Mind to move into cooperation with conscious evolution. Charles Fillmore states that “A person can never exercise dominion until he or she knows who and what he or she is and, knowing, brings forth that knowledge into the external by exercising it in divine order, which is mind, idea and manifestation.” As we create more order in our lives through consciously connecting with Divine Mind, we experience more harmony, balance and peace in our everyday lives.
Here is an affirmation from Heart Centered Metaphysics for the month of September:
I claim my Power of Order now. I organize and balance my life according to Divine Ideas.
